MAMTA Scholarship
MAMTA has established a college scholarship for students of MAMTA members
to continue studying music as a music major in an accredited
college or university of their choice.
About the Scholarship

This annual scholarship is available to any high school senior enrolling at an approved and accredited junior college, college, or university with a declared majoring in the field of music.

ELIGIBILITY:

The applicant must be currently studying with a MAMTA member.

Race, color, creed, or gender will not be a factor in determining eligibility for this scholarhip.

The applicant must have a distinguished background in the field of music.

The applicant must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Only high school seniors will be considered.
How To Apply ​

The following are due by March 15 of the year applying:

Three letters of reference

High school transcripts
There will also be a live audition (applicant will perform two pieces) and an interview.

Applications can be requested from the student's MAMTA teacher.
